Aldres Schwarz signed painting oil on canvas out of the frame the painting measures 30wx22.50 tall. Alfred Scwharz was a portrait painter in Berlin he has painted many paintings that currently show up on ebay as post cards including my painting. The painting is titled Wach Auf wake up mama. It was painted between 1908 and 1910. It is in a period frame including a light attached to the top of the frame. Most of his painting have sold through sothebys and chrities in europe, the price for smaller range from 10,000.00-15,000.00 he has one currently coming up for auctio titled the Debutante. My painting is in need of cleaning and restoration so I have lowered the price under the actual value, it is not a print and the original frame is old wood with the cnavas nailed to the frame.
